Hurghada

Hurghada is one of the most popular resorts in Egypt, located on the shores of the Red Sea, known for its long beaches with fine sand, clear waters and spectacular coral reefs. It is a destination where summer never ends, with the climate being warm all year round, which makes it suitable for holidays at any time, but it is recommended to avoid the period from June to August, when temperatures can become very high. Tourists can go snorkeling or diving in places such as Giftun Island, go on an ATV safari in the desert or explore local life in the old El Dahar district. In Hurghada Marina, the modern area of the city, there are restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops. A tourist visa is required and can be obtained on arrival (25 USD) or online, and the local currency is the Egyptian pound, although euros and dollars are accepted in many places.
